The host band started the session with 'Stormy Monday' followed by 'Dust My Broom' and finished up the first set with 'Born Under A Bad Sign'. Sadly must admit that they started the `show` a tad on the loud side, but six players on stage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Night's Gear
Fender Bassman (bass)
Marshall JMP1 + 8080 PowerAmp + SE50 effects (guitar)
Fender Hot Rod deVille (guitar)
Cornford Harlequin (guitar)
Peavey Powered Mixer and Radio Mic (pa)
The first jam line up featured Heather 'Honey Momma' Carter on vox, Mike, using his 'Jimmy Page' Replica Gibson Les Paul, Johnny C, with his Anniversary Strat, Gordon 'Juke Joint' on drums with Prof. Rich on Bass. They stormed through 'Hoochie Coochie Gal' followied by 'Black Magic Woman', then an unheard of power failure saw Jim McSax invited up to start an acoustic rendition of 'Summertime' which evolved back to full on when power was resumed.

Next up to the stage was Chris Perrin 'the one eyed cat peeping into a sea food store' on guitar and vocals accompanied by Matt Thorpe who made a rare appearance on a Fender Stratocaster gtr, Pete 'Perfect' on Stingray Bass, and Evan occupied the drumstool. 'Evening', 'Sweet Home Allabama' ,'Little Wing' were their chosen numbers.

Next up Big Dave on vox,`Judge`Justin & Jim with an unseen Telecaster, were on guitars, Rich back up on Lackland 5 string and 'Lonesome Dog' Dickie breaking the sticks! They did 'Need Your Love So Bad' and 'Johnny B Goode'.

Steevie Reggae with Mike, Johnny C. Maz drums, Pete bass, ran through 'Hey Joe' and 'I Shot de Sheriff', Steevie won the nights Loudest shirt contest! The snake can be clearly seen through his Perspex Strat........!! check out the gallery link.

The night closed about six minutes early, enough for one more from the House Herberts but Hey lets let the staff behind the Bar have an early night once in a while.
Next week we hope to hear more from Sonny Boy Stokes.... blow & suck it.

The full moon shone over Lichfield but we had a fun night in the end.........
