Tonight’s house band gave us an slightly dodgy Am tune ( it is a jam after all), a stomping C Shuffle jam, and Black Magic Woman. Matt was sporting his newly dusted off and refurbished hand wired, all valve, Burman Pro 501 Amp a relic from the late 1970's not used for the last 20 years !

Next up was Alan on Vocals and Guitar accompanied by Ben on Bass and Evan on Drums with Justin on second guitar. They performed ‘Rock Me Baby’, Red House with some really nice harp from Mario and ‘Tore Down’.

Then we had a performance featuring ‘Shaky’ Stuart on Vocals and Harp with Tommy Smith Guitar, Matt Thorpe Guitar, Pete on Bass and Tony B on drums. They ran us through ‘Ramblin on My Mind’ and ‘Lookin’ For Somebody’ by Bo Diddley

Next on the boards was Geeza, Vocal and Harp with Justin on Guitar and Dino on Second Guitar. Good to see Paul McDermott back at the jam night, Bass and Mario and drums. One of Geeza’s favourites ‘ Sweet Home Chicago’ and followed by the other ‘Shame Shame Shame’ !

Next we had Dave and Heather on Vocals with Rich on Bass, Dan on Guitar, Jim on Guitar, Evan on Drums and Tony Stokes on harp.Dave sang lead vocal on Johnny B Goode with Heather on backing vocs. Then Heather sang lead vocals on Jumpin’ Jack Flash. Dan then sang vocal on Stormy Monday.

Next up we had 58 Deluxe featuring Bryan ‘Rory’ Foote with Mario Drums Tony M Bass and Tony Stokes on Drums. They performed an excellent ‘Baby She Left Me’ followed by ‘I Wonder Who’ and then a belting version of ‘Bullfrog Blues’.

To round of the evening we had Dave (vocal) with Chris Perrin Guitar, Matt Guitar, Pete Bass, and Geeza on Harp performed ‘Sweet Home Alabama’. Geeza swapped with Tony Stokes on Harp for a seemingly normal version of Hoochie Coochie Man. This was extended by a an extra verse specially composed by Dave containing Christmas wishes from the band.

Most players were lavishly festooned in dazzling head gear. The most elaborate hat prize must go to Dave's techno-gizmotron featuring state of the art wiring loom and flashing trim !! I suspect that Mr Tony 'Cooper' Mottrams Fez was a close second !! Most apt was Lord Nelson Perrin's in lieu of his eye patch ! and most patriotic was Matt. Coolest was probably Evan or Mario. See pics !
