The house band tonight saw the return of Jason on drums with Matt on guitar and Tony M on bass and Tony Stokes on harp. Some rife, riff jamming opened up the early evening spot with the house band grooving to a Jam in G loosely based around ‘Come Back Baby’. Justin was then replaced by Chris P on guitar, and so followed a Tony M groove in A. These jams seemed to be well appreciated by the gathered throng. Chris P then took the vocals and the group performed a nice version of ‘Thrill Is Gone’.

Next up was Steve Cash on vocals with Justin and Johnny C on guitars Evan on drums and Rich on Bass. The crowd were treated to ‘Crossroads’ followed by ‘Farther On Up The Road’ joined by Geeza on keys and then ‘Stormy Monday’.

Johnny G was next up on vocal and guitar. He invited Matt, guitar, to join him with Pete on Bass, Jason on Drums and Tony S on harp. They performed ‘Hoochie Coochie Man’, ‘Have You Ever Loved A Woman’ and ‘Cocaine’. Chris P requested that Johnny G turn up the volume on his guitar – woah oh !! steady now !!

Next up was two numbers from Shaky Stuart on vocal and harp accompanied by Justin and Johnny C on guitars and Paul McDermott on bass and Phil on drums.

Heather vocalised in the next session with Matt on guitar, Rich on bass, Gaz on drums. ‘Love Me Like A Man’ was followed by ‘Unchain My Heart’ with Chrip P on guitar and Mario on harp.

Steve Cash returned to the vocal mike with Chris P and Matt on Guitars, Pete on Bass and Mario Drums, Geeza on keys for a superb rendition of ‘Old Love’. Johnny G came up and joined in also.

Most people agreed that this had been one of the best nights for some time with some very enjoyable performances from all. Nice One All !
