A VALENTINE DAYS MASSACRE ?
overheard ! "this playing is enough to break anybody's heart ".....aint that yer blues....

House Band & suppliers of backline were the `58`s & while sound checking Bryan played a tasty TROWERESQE INTRO HE IS WORKING ON and Motters jammed along in E and introduced a turn to G, this may surface as a real number we hope.

Dino (see photos) Justin Rich Maz and `Sonny boy` soundchecked which gave a great level on all the equipment until Justins solo which slightly unbalanced it for a moment !

Bryan Tony Maz and Sonnyboy Stokes started the real proceedings with Evil,Baby please don`t Go, the Driftin`.

The first Jammer line up was Steve Cash vow, Dino, Judge Justin gtrs.Rich Bass, Evan Drums, Jim sexyphone.
Steve has a magnifficent voice and was on form tonight
Black Magic Woman, Stormy mondays with stand out Sax from Jim, finally this set was Bright Lights Big City and as stated Big voice.

Jonny G vox/gtr Russ gtr Ben Bass Maz drums followed with a `fast` version of Hoochie Coochie (not intended)
Walking by myself and tore down with an obligatory false start.

Heather with Bryan and Justin gtrs, Paul Bass, Evan back up on the skins,Maz Blowman blowing some on the harp
played Key to the highway,Johnny B good when Paul viagra seemed to kick in as he was Bopping like Zebedee.
H fineshed with Love me like a man.

Now the reveiw becomes vague as the notes were turned into bets being taken on songs to be performed, this writer went to play bass ,so from my point of view it was fun but what did we do last week ?

Someboy noted a post modern Proud Mary, I remember Midnight Hour possibly an I shot a Sherriff?!

The line up maybe featured Evan , Dino , Jim Sax but forsure it was TM on Bass and lead by Steeevie on vox`n` gtr.

The finalle was handed to Jonny G with Russ, Ben bass, Maz sticks who played Queen of Spades, and finished on Knockin` on heavans door

The night was a great success as we were worried that lovers may rule and romantism take presidence, but a lot of blues was in the air and a good turn out ensured a good atmosphere and good playing.

We even wooed some of the drinking lovers who expressed their appreciation.

Sorry late but never.
