Just like the musical term it is named after, Finale Allegro 2007 Music Notation Software is quick and
lively when it comes to meeting your music notation needs. The launch window gives you simple, single mouse-click options,
including a Setup Wizard, pre-designed templates, and default documents for starting new projects. There's also several ways
to automatically open and import existing files.
For teachers, the Exercise Wizard button takes you to an area where
you can create quizzes, tests, and worksheets that students can later open, edit, print and play with via the free, downloadable
Finale NotePad.
For the student, or those just learning the software, the bottom half features a Tip of the Day as
well as buttons for getting you to the QuickStart Video tutorials, user manual, and a tutorial guide so you get the most of
your music software.
Finale Allegro 2007 features a powerful mixer and intuitive Human Playback function allowing you
to chose from a variety of musical styles. Using SmartMusic SoundFont's over 128 sounds, the Row-Loff marching percussion
sounds, and softsynth included, you'll get to hear a real world version of your composition with every bit of subtlety in
the phrasing and dynamics that you envisioned. Other components that make your composing life easier are Band-in-a-Box Auto
Harmonizing which creates two- and three-part harmonies, and automatic lyric placement which spaces lyrics to the notes they're
attached to for you. You also get customizable percussion notation, chord symbols, and guitar fretboards, all with multiple
undo.
Using the included SmartScore Lite by Musitek program, you can accurately scan pre-notated music, or import SmartScore
3.0 files and download MIDI files and have them automatically notated as well. MicNotator will even allow you to play your
brass or woodwind instrument into a microphone and do the notating for you.
Don't be andante, get Finale Allegro 2007
and your musical notation process will be forte, facile, and piacevole.
