Bill Chasse was born in Syracuse, NY. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 where he worked as a session musician. He recorded with, amongst others, David Bowie, who returned the favor by singing & playing sax on a demo of one of Bill's songs. He also toured with the Nadine Autry Band. Returning to New York several years later, he concentrated on his song writing which was starting to lean towards country music. This resulted in him moving to Nashville at the beginning of 2001 with his wife & young daughter. Bill will be adding to this page with tips & pointers on playing the drums & recommendations on equipment, etc. This page is still under construction, so check back often.
I don't want to work, I want to play
on the drum all day. When I went out
to play, I found a stick and began to
hit a coffee can. Then when I was two,
I got some shakers. When I was four,
I got some more.
