Hey everyone. Hope you like the new look of the website. It resembles the cover art work of the new BoneYard6 CD that just arrived. New graphics, New Art, New Attitude, New Year, New Beginning. The Cd looks great. sounds awesome and was well worth the wait. With that all said and done, I gotta tell ya, This thing took forever!!

I have never seen a project with more delays, obstacles, pitfalls, surprises, shortfalls, oversights, undersights, hindsights, insights and websites, with the simple task of producing a quality cd of songs that two or three guys wrote with the mere desire to share them with the world. Ok. The entire world.

Americal Idol has nothing on Boneyard6 when it comes to the amount of effort that it took to finally sit and hold the actual physical, real, professional, retail ready, barcoded, honest to God BoneYard6 Debut CD.. No Kidding!! After the numbness of the intial shock wore off, later, while discussing the early years, (I can't even believe we have early years) we happen to mention a few names when something came to us. The names were the same names that are still around today. Tammy & Tara (AKA Tibby), Stumped, New Artist Radio, A.I.I.R., Razzy Bailey, Garage Band, Besonic, Clear Channel, Mp3.com, Online Rock.com, Sandy & Marci and all the other fans that we have had for almost 9 years.

What can we say. Thank You for all the years of support, thanks for playing our songs on your computers, mp3 players, ipods, whatever. Thanks to all the Internet Radio and Satellite Radio stations playing our music around the world and thanks for coming to see us play.

Sully & David "James" Roberge
BoneYard6
Sully & Dave formed "BoneYard6" in 2001 and instantly created a local buzz. Their blending of Rock, Pop and yes even a little Country had cast them into the musical spotlight. Their powerful lyrics, soothing harmonies and emotional performences leave you with a warm comfortable feeling inside, like an ole familiar friend, however it also has a raw, edgy, passionate depth to it that seperates them from todays artists. No matter what, their songs are likeable regardless of your musical tastes. Try wrapping Bruce Springstein, Rod Stewart and Matchbox20 all together and see what you get. It will probably sound something like BoneYard6. Sully & Dave were signed by CMG Records in Nashville earlier this year. With the addition of New Management and a well known BookingFirm things are starting to fall into place, They are currently getting geared up for a Southern Rock Tour this year. They will be hitting a lot of colleges and festivals so hopefully they can meet some of you there. Their CD should be out by the Winter of this year which will coincide with the Radio Play and Concerts.

Thanks for checking them out. That makes you a friend so say something in the comments, and join their fan blog at

http://groups.myspace.com/boneyard6 This will allow us to let you know when they are going to be in your area. Let us know about you and what you are up to. Thats it for now---See Ya Round

Interview at the Hit House Studios in Nashville, TN,
discusses the music of Sully & Dave with BoneYard6.
March 5, 2006-

After arriving at the "Hit House" Studios in Nashville, TN. which is owned by the Country Great Razzie Bailey, one immediately finds themself immersed in a feeling of warmth and comfortablity. After a brief meeting, Sully & Dave settled in and immediately began focusing on the songs they would be recording. After an earlier pre-production meeting it was determined there would be no song search necessary to track down songs written by hit writers because of the caliber of songs Sully & Dave had written themselves. That was such a great thing to hear coming from a man who himself had 9 #1 hit songs. That's not to mentioned the number of hit songs he wrote for other artists.

After meeting all the session musicians and project personel, Razzie slowly sank into the task at hand and started to build the songs one by one. Track by track. Layer by layer. One could see the amazement on the guys faces as the songs they had performed a thousand times took on a new life. They were the same songs yet now touched by a Master of the art. A legend in his own time reaching back over the years of his experience and fine tuning each track in a way that only Razzie Bailey could.

Day after day, song after song. Sometimes arriving early in the morning and leaving well after 9:00 at night. Slowly the project crept forward until finally the last of the six (6) songs had been finished. From the Saxaphone in "Livin in Yesterday" to the rock Violin in "Dickey Tooley", the guys could only anticipate the sound of the final product. All that remained was the mixing and mastering.

What the guys did know was, working with Razzie Bailey was one of those experiences in life that you take with you everywhere you go and talk about all the time. Not simply because of his brilliance in music but because of his absolute genuine personality. A consumate gentlemen, an immediate friend to those that are lucky enough to have made his acquaintence and to top it off, an all around funny guy. Sully & Dave look forward to returning as soon as possible to finish the remaining 4 songs on the album.
In the meantime, you can still hear some of the old tracks by clicking on the BY6 Song link above. If you have any comments on the guys trip to Nashville, click on the "Blog Us" button and speak your mind. You will have to join MySpace.com and sign in. Don't worry it's free Oh. One final thing. Somehow in the midst of everything. The guys ended up performing one Razzie's Original songs that has never been released and will also be on the album when it comes out. It doesn't get any better than that.
William Randal Eades, Ocala, Fl.
Co-Author and Song Writer.
I Write The Songs.
Did you ever wonder while you're listening to your favorite song, where the actual idea for the song came from? Where the inspiration swelled up from? Who wrote the song and why? Well in the case of Sully it might not be what you think. Had it not been for Randal Eades, some of your favorite BoneYard6 songs might not have been written.

Randal Co-authored seveal songs written by Sully. Painted Eyes is a great example of a song that would have never been. Sully started that song 20 years ago and had only the first verse and Chorus completed when he met Randal. When he first heard Painted Eyes he said "Sully that damn things a hit song, You need to finish that song".

From that point on, Randal hounded Sully everyday until he actually sat down and finished it. He continued to hound Sully about his writing until songs like "Country Women", "What Goes Around Comes Around", and "Ghetto Life" were born. Randal was a confirmed country song writer himself. His roots lie in the shadows of Meryl Haggard, George Strait, George Jones etc...

When Sully heard the songs that Randal had partially written it was only natural to want to help him finish his songs. The only problem was Sully's style of writing and singing was far different than that of Randals. The comedy began when Randal would provide the first half of the song and tell Sully what he wanted it to sound like, then actually getting the song back from Sully although completed, having a completely different feel, style, and sometimes meaning.

Either way, regardless of how the songs came to be, or who actually wrote the song or why the songs were written. When you finally get to the point where you become lost in the song itself or when you just get to listen or experience the lyrics and feel the connection between the writer and the listener, you're just glad to have the songs simply exist.
