Holloh at me girl.
The Holloh are one of the most together bands I know of, and the one you’ll most likely be able to see on T.V. in five years time.

Falling Under Cars Kills is not only a safety warning, but also an E.P.

In a fight between a car and a pedestrian, I’m backing the car as well, so right off the bat I have something in common with The Holloh.

Lady JD has a cool indie sounding name. I must confess I thought it might sound a bit gay like that Manchester scene indie, but in fact it's very much more rock with that nice double tracking.

Lockey productions may well be picking up a house worth of royalities for this song if they know how to use it. Or maybe just a maisonette, whatever.

I don’t know if it’s intentional, but the Car theme continues with Taxi, a pretty sorted song about being pissed up and on the town. “I’m pretty sure I’ve been here before” is a bit cheeky because it’s appealing to the lowest common denominator.

I mean, everyone has been in the situation where they’ve been in a unfamiliar, yet familiar situation and are racking their brains trying to work out what happened the night before. Then they see a familiar face and say “Hey, where do I know you from?” and get the answer “We had a shag last night.”

Misled is a pretty weak track by comparison, but it’s alright. Nothing to write home about.

The Holloh have got the world at their feet and are making steady progress, they’ve sold 300 copies of this bad boy already, and I’m sure they’ll be shifting a load more when they’re signed up.

They’ve got a big show on Oct 14th doing a charity gig at the Guildhall in Gloucester, unfortunately that’s the day when my band are playing so no one will turn up. I’ll let you decide which venue will be left empty. :(

Fortunately we’re also on the bill with them at the massive Crackers Sept 15th gig, and the massive Cirencester Rock gig on Sept 26th which also features Morph and Solace.

This band is for fans of-

The Beatles, Vines, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Raison D’etre.

You can buy the CD (or just listen to it) at MVC Gloucester and at shows. Also if you had initiative you would phone or e-mail them from their website www.theholloh.co.uk
