All tunes encoded at 64kbps All of the harmonies were played on guitar...Not a harmonizer! Chamber is a new one after kind of a long time without writing a tune. I played this on the RG 520 through the POD Pro. This was a new patch that I found for the POD on the Line 6 website. It's called Tight Crunch. For this song I added a little compression to it and backed off of the drive just a little. I recorded and did the drums and bass in Sonar 3 Producer. I am most happy with the way the drums turned out for this one. I heard the drums in the style of Mark Zonder (Fates Warning drummer), and think they have a great impact on the tune. The name of the song, "Chamber of Days" is kinda where I invision our good friend Saddam is trapped right now...he's only got a few left on this Earth... I AM was recorded and mastered in Sonar 3 and was played on an Ibaez RG 520 through a POD Pro. The drums and bass were from a backing called Growl done by Ivan from Cakewalk.
( I AM stands for Ivan and me) C R A Z Y ! Was played on an Ibanez RG 520 through a POD Pro and recorded in Cakewalk Guitar Studio 2, then mastered in in Sonar 2.2 XL. The drums are Drum Trax from Cakewalk. The bass was played on a Yamaha keyboard. Rain Makes the Spring Dance was played on an Ibanez S 470 through the POD Pro on the Black Panel setting, and recorded in CWGS 2. This is played over a droning C note (done by SiD from GW). This was written as I was recording it and entered in The Drone Wars at Guitar War. This is one of my favorites. Here's Lookin' At You was played on an Ibanez S 470 through the POD Pro on the Black Panel setting, and recorded with Sonar 2.2XL. This is a collab with Ms. Badly Behaved from Guitar War. She is playing the acoustic, and i played all of the electric guitars. I had a lot of fun with this one! Hiway was played on the S 470 through the POD Pro on the Black Panel setting, and recorded in CWGS 2. The song was inspired by the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes. I went back and remastered it not too long ago in Sonar 3. This is another one of my favorites. Fodder was my first real attempt at playing anything 'jazzy'. It was played over a Santana-esque backing that I found on the web. I used the S 470 through the POD Pro on Black Panel, and CWGS 2 to do this one. D Movement was originally written for guitar, but I heard it differently in my head, so I tabbed it out in Power Tab and sent it to SiD to see if he could add some cool MIDI sounds to it...Boy did he! This is the way I was hearing it! No. 64 2 was written around track #64 in my DR 5 drum machine. This is one of the first tunes that I ever recorded into my computer. I used the S470 through an ADA MP2. It was recorded using CWGS 2. Copyright TMWTY Productions 2003 |
