Established in 2001, FULL THROTTLE has spent the last few years grinding their aggressive brand of HIGH VELOCITY HARDCORE music to razor sharp perfection. With all original music and an unparalleled driving force, FULL THROTTLE has begun to redefine the sound of heavy music today. The band consists of dual lead vocalists PAT GRAY and KENAN O'SHEA, CHRIS LYMAN on rhythm and lead guitar, MIKE HAYES on bass, and ISAAC HAYNES on percussion. The concept of two lead singers allows FULL THROTTLE the versatility to combine speed and style in a hybrid form of new school thrash metal. Backed by explosive riffs and a relentless assault of rhythm, the music and live performances are geared for maximum impact. FULL THROTTLE prepares to unleash their fury on audiences through out the rapidly rising metal nation. They dominated the "Battle of the Bands", held at San Francisco's premier metal club; "The Pound S.F", in February 2004. They thrashed through the competions, winning the finals and stealing the show. This landed them a spot on the cover of the "San Francisco Bay Guardian" newspaper, complete with full interview and story. The victory also sparked a series of mini tours, with highlights including Seattle Washington's "North West Death Fest", and Cleveland Ohio's "Cleveland Music Fest". The Band has recently finished work on thier third album, at Oakland California's prestigious "Studio 880", where Full Throttle had the privillage of working with producer Chris Dugan.
