TablEdit

If you’ve always thought there has to be an easier way to write songs, you’re right. It’s called TablEdit, a software program that lets you create, edit, print and listen to sheet music (standard notation) for guitar and similar stringed, fretted instruments.

TablEdit

The multitrack tablature editor supports Windows 3.1, 95, 98 and NT, and can open/import ASCII, MIDI, ABC, Bucket O’ Tab and Tabestry files, not to mention earlier versions of TablEdit. It provides high quality output of tablature and/or musical staves, as well as separate printouts of chord diagrams. TablEdit lets you conveniently playback tablature using a Midi output, all the while allowing complete real-time sound control. You can add effects to your tabs including hammer-ons, pull-offs, bends, slides, muting, etc.). While it is designed primarily for guitar, it offers similar capabilities for three- to seven-stringed instruments.

TablEdit is priced at $55.00 (US). It can be downloaded and purchased directly from the TablEdit Web site at http://www.tabledit.com.

For you musicians who spend endless hours compiling and editing tabs, this software program has your name on it. So what are you waiting for? The full Demo of TablEdit can be downloaded by clicking here or view 1000's of tabs from the TablEdit User Space by clicking here.
