OnlineRock Announces Short Run CDR Service
Professional Way To Market Your Music
SAN CARLOS, Calif., March 2, 2003 - OnlineRock
is proud to announce that they now offer a short run CDR service
for musicians. With this service, the thousands of bands and
musicians that make up the fastest growing music community
on the Web can rely on OnlineRock to produce high quality,
professional looking CDRs for distribution. For as little
as $1.40 per disc, this service is a cost-effective way for
music professionals to spread their music to the public.
"We are always trying to find new ways
to help members of our community get their music heard,"
says Steven Beck, president of OnlineRock. "This service
is perfect for songwriters and bands who want to market themselves
in a professional manner."
Using the member's CD master, OnlineRock will
produce the short run on high quality Taiyo Yuden CDRs, and
they will verify each disc for quality. All CDR runs include
74 minutes of music or 650 MBs of data from the CD master.
In addition, using their full color 2400 DPI jet printer,
OnlineRock will print high quality images directly onto the
CDR and then insert them into a protective paper/cellophane
sleeve. Slimline jewel cases are also available for an additional
charge. OnlineRock ships all orders within five days of artwork
approval and payment verification.
As an additional part of the service, OnlineRock
also provides their members a way to express their creativity
in the design of the CDR artwork. For those customers who
want to use their own artwork, OnlineRock will print it on
their CDRs free of charge. For those less graphically inclined,
OnlineRock can have in-house artists create an eye-catching
design for anywhere between $25 and $75, depending on how
advanced the desired artwork is.
The uses and benefits of short run CDRs are
many. "This new service provides musicians with the opportunity
to use their CDRs as demos, radio station promos, ad or jingle
spots, or gifts for family and friends," says Beck. "They
can also sell their CDRs directly to fans at clubs and gigs,
and most importantly, sell them at our OnlineRock Music Store!"
In addition to their short run CDR service,
OnlineRock also offers a CD manufacturing service for larger
runs, enhanced CD ROMs and graphic design. Visit https://onlinerock.com/cdr
