BELMONT, Calif., March 9, 2004 – OnlineRock is presenting some of America's finest up-and-coming indie bands: Autumdivers (Rochester, NY), Grey Star Morning (Boston) and prettytheboat (Boston) for a special evening of indie music at Evos Arts on Friday, April 2 at 9 PM.

These bands have sounds along the lines of British pop rock (Elbow, Coldplay, Doves, etc.) but are right here in America. autumdivers- Built on the foundation of true emotional music: richly atmospheric, disarming in naked simplicity and soaring in the organic thresholds of the greatest indiepop. In performance and on record, the group explores a hybrid of textured, hypnotic pop and ambient rock. The Autumdivers are about to release their second album on California based OnlineRock Records. grey star morning- Having sold out their CD release show earlier this year, Grey Star Morning is poised to make an indelible mark on the Boston music scene. At once delicate and jarring, textured and shimmering, stark and soaring, Grey Star Morning has crafted a cinematic sound that is uniquely its own. prettytheboat- The band has developed their amorphous style to become one of the most exciting bands to hit the Boston music scene. Their penetrating lyrics and effect-driven technique span genres. Vanessa Wheeler and Rich Pena fuse their ethereal voices and labyrinthine guitars with bassist Chris Mcdonnell's mercurial undertone and drummer Dave Greenbaum's intuitive rhythm.
