Unique scarab design.
Things keep getting better and better for the affordable, rich sounding Aspire series from LP. Now LP
has applied traditional LP innovation to the realm of aesthetics. The result is one of the most beautiful finishes to adorn
any conga or bongo.
The LP Aspire line has a striking new look: the LP Aspire Scarab, a multi-faceted finish that combines
contemporary and ancient design components. The Scarab finish focuses on an intertwined motif depicting an unbroken series
of scarab beetles-insects considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians and figuring highly in their art and mythology. Symbolizing
eternal life, the scarab was said to be sacred and has been found in stone, in sculptures, on amulets, and aligned as picture
borders, and in lieu of marquetry on fine furniture. On LP Aspire bongos, the Scarab bands intersect upper and lower panels
of glistening black lacquer. The contrast of the motif against maple center band is rivaled only by the juxtaposition of mirror
chrome against jet-black lacquer.
The look adorns special sets of LP Aspire Series bongos. The finish is exotic and
fascinating, new to the world of drums. Drums are fitted with fine rawhide skins, topped with EZ Curve Rims, which minimize
hand trauma. Conga sets come with a sturdy, chromed double stand, fully-adjustable. Even the snaking tuning rods are aesthetically
in harmony with the curved scarab lines.
The LP Aspire line has always featured great sounding drums and fabulous finishes.
The scarab finish, however, is an example of LP bettering itself…especially when you see the low price.
Mythic scarab beetle imagery sets these bongos far apart from the crowd. Order today.
