Promark Jonathan Haas Timpani Mallets
JH1 Greens
The greens are the most articulate
with a very hard felt head excellent for performing early classical compositions.
JH2 Reds
The reds are also
a hard felt mallet useful for all performing situations They provide the timpanist with a complementary choice of hard mallets.
One degree harder than white felt.
JH3
The JH3 are the hardest of the white felt mallets. They produce a
warm and resonant tone yet the small head can be used for pas-sages that need to be defined.
JH4
The general
purpose mallet of the series. They have the weight to play loud, the softness to play soft, and the balance needed to control
the speed and accuracy of the mallets.
JH5
They are larger than normal general purpose mallets which is needed
for that extra volume to bring the orchestra in, and bring the house down.
JH6 Rollers
This mallet provides
the lushness and warmth that is essential for your long rolls.
JH7 Woods
These mallets require very little
effort in order to produce a full and brilliant tone. The mallets are also designed to help mini-mize "dings" in the timpani
heads.
