The Washburn AB10 bass is a thin-bodied and lightweight acoustic-electric instrument capable of holding
its own in intimate acoustic settings or in high volume jamming with the band. The Florentine design gives this acoustic electric
bass a truly unique and distinctive appearance, while also allowing easy access to the instrument's upper register. It starts
with a select spruce top and mahogany sides and back for a truly balanced and full tone. The patented soundslot design of
the soundhole reduces feedback that often accompanies acoustic-electric crossovers. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge offer
strong sustain. The tuners are chrome die-cast Grovers, for precision tuning and great consistency in tone. At the heart of
this 4-string Washburn bass lies a piezo bridge pickup and the Equis Extra active preamp, that provide a very natural amplified
sound.
