The left-handed Kingston Artist Electric Bass is supplied with exposed-pole MTD MM style alnico humbucking pickups and active electronics. The hardware includes a custom made MTD bridge and tuners in black. All Kingston basses are delivered with MTD strings.

The 24-fret fingerboard comes in Maple gloss. The Kingston Artist Bass uses the Buzz Feiten Tuning System.
