Capture the trombone-like sound of Verdi operas.
The Cerveny CFC 652-5PX Cimbasso Tuba is a unique instrument designed for the professional bass trombone
or tuba player. The Cimbasso is most commonly found in Verdi operas, but has been used several other settings—including
use by metal band Korn on their MTV Unplugged concert.
Like all Cerveny instruments the CFC 652 is made in Europe with
a centuries old tradition of instrument making. It features 5 rotary valves with 2nd and 5th triggers with adjustable stops.
The 5th trigger lowers by 1 tone. It also has a nickel silver leadpipe, valve casing, and trim. The Cerveny Cimbasso uses
a tuba mouthpiece, has .717-inch bore, and 11-inch yellow brass bell.
