Indamixx Applications
•Ardour 2.8.9: This powerful multitrack DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is the premier application of the Indamixx portable
recording studio. Rivaling applications such as Pro Tools and Nuendo, Ardour is a brilliant yet elegant full-featured recording
application.
•ArdourXchange: allows you to import sessions from Pro Tools and many other popular DAWs. Sessions can be transferred
to Ardour using the Advanced Authoring Format (commonly known as AAF or AMW). ArdourXchange is the link that makes this possible.
•Audacity 1.3.12: This is a custom version of the popular sound editor and lightweight multitrack DAW ported for a Jack
server client. This feature in Audacity is ideal for users who desire stable, accurate, low latency, realtime performance
audio operations. Additionally, this version of Audacity is ported for use of the 260 bundled plug-ins that come with the
Indamixx Portable Recording Studio. These realtime effects are in addition to the standard effects which render to file.
•ALSA Modular Synth: A realtime modular synthesizer and effect processor featuring MIDI controlled modular software synthesis,
realtime effect processing, and full control of all synthesis and effect parameters via MIDI.
•Audio CD Extractor: Allows the user to easily extract audio from compact discs and convert it into audio files. (Unit
does not come with a built-in CD drive. Must use an external USB-enabled CD drive.)
•Energy XT 2.5.2 (Indamixx Edition): An exquisite loop-based MIDI sequencer, this popular application makes music creation
easy by allowing you to simply drag-and-drop your favorite loops and samples into an audio session. Simple but powerful, Energy
XT is a full-blown DAW rivaling applications such as Logic and Fruity Loops. Combining Energy XT with Indamixx makes it a
portable "baby Logic" machine.
•Gnome ALSA Mixer: This lightweight mixer adjusts master volume, headphone monitoring, microphone input, and the onboard
speakers.
•Gnome CD Master: The preferred CD-burning software of audio enthusiasts who desire ease-of-use and control over the
amount of spacing or dead air between tracks. (Unit does not come with a built-in CD drive. Must use an external USB-enabled
CD drive.)
•Gnome Mplayer: A rich and robust media and video player.
•Hydrogen-Drums0.9.4: This virtual drum machine offers professional and simple pattern-based drum programming. It's an
excellent drum machine utilizing the best features of well-known software applications like Fruity Loops, and hardware devices
like the famous MPC drum machine. Hydrogen is the perfect hybrid of both, especially with the addition of a graphical user
interface that allows you to view a mixer with effects and utilize 260 realtime plug-ins. Hydrogen's graphical nature makes
it both a powerful sampler and a step recorder/sequencer. The Indamixx Netbook uses its onboard alpha keyboard to trigger
drums and samples eliminating the need for an external USB controller.
•IDJC: This streaming internet radio station software is one of the most relevant applications that Indamixx offers.
Marrying the small form factor of Indamixx with the genius of IDJC provides a new synergy product that is ideal if you're
a broadcaster, podcaster, DJ, or someone who desires to share their audio via the internet. It Utilizes Icecast2 to publish
your audio.
•Mixxx 1.7.2 Virtual DJ Software (Indamixx Edition): This feature-rich DJ software application is similar to Serato's
Scratch Live or Stanton's Final Scratch. It gives you 2 virtual turntables, beat mixing, song sync, multiple CODEC recognition
for headphone cueing, and an easy-to-use interface.
•QJackControl—Graphical Jack Server Client: A superb graphical transport to control the backend of all of Indamixx's
audio applications, the QJackControl audio engine ensures superior application connection similar to Rewire. It's a great
ambassador to connect and sync all of Indamixx's audio applications flawlessly. It gives you the ability to connect all of
your applications without any hassles, lockups, or crashes.
•Rhythmbox Music Player: This feature-rich audio player plays and helps organize your digital music. It allows you to
listen to global Internet radio stations, download podcasts, and locate new music from your favorite artists.
•Stretchplayer: StretchPlayer is an audio file player that allows you to change the speed of the song without changing
the pitch. It will also allow you to transpose the song to another key (while also changing the speed). This is a very powerful
tool for musicians who are learning to play a prerecorded song.
•Seq24: An old school-style loop-based MIDI sequencer, Seq24 was created to provide a very simple interface for editing
and playing MIDI loops.
•VST Host: This software application allows VST plug-ins to be loaded and controlled. Now you can put your VST's in your
pocket, without lugging big pieces of audio equipment around.
•ZynAddSubFX: A classic type software synth designed to rival some of the most popular and expensive synthesizers known,
ZynAddSubFX is an ideal compliment to the mobile audio enthusiast.
