The ProMount is designed exclusively to mount the Rhythm Tech Pro Tambourine and will not fit either the original Rhythm Tech Tambourine or any other brand. The mount will fit onto Rhythm Tech's DSM2 or DSM quad mount, (or any other mount that attaches to a percussion instrument stand and accepts a standard 3/8" rod). It enables the Pro Tambourine to slip on and off so that it can instantly be converted to a mounted instrument.
