The Yamaha EMX5014/15/BR15 PA system combines great Yamaha components to make a perfect club system for a band. It features the EMX5014 powered mixer and 2 BR15 2-way speaker cabs to process and deliver your sound with maximum quality and creative control. It includes 4 AKG D8000S microphones with cables, 2 speaker stands, and 2 stands, and 4 microphones with cables.

The Mixer

A total of 14 input channels accommodate mics, instruments and playback gear with a selection of mono mic/line and stereo line inputs. Connections include XLR, TRS 1/4-in. phone, and RCA. A power mode switch allow the amps to operate stereo, or main/monitor mono channels.

For sound shaping and feedback control, the EMX5014 includes 3-band EQ on each input channel, a stereo 9-band graphic EQ on the main stereo output, and a separate graphic for the monitor output. Each channel also contains a Feedback Channel Locator (FCL) indicator that pinpoints the input channel creating the problem. Additionally, channels 1 thru 6 provide single knob compressors. This Yamaha exclusive feature is great for controlling unruly vocals or tightening up a bass guitar.

Onboard signal processing includes a selection of 16 professional-grade programs (reverb, echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, drum ambiance and distortion) from Yamaha's renowned SPX series processor products. In addition, onboard proprietary YSP processing tailors the signal for optimum use with Yamaha's BR loudspeakers.

The Yamaha BR15 15" 2-Way Speaker Cab can really punch out bass and everything else. Easy-to-handle cab features computerized, high-precision, environmentally friendly woodworking; large steel handles; corner protectors; built-in pole socket; and balanced acoustic design. Tight, punchy lows come from Bass Reflex technology while crisp (not brittle) HF response is generated by new titanium driver with 90 degree by 40 degree nonresonant horn. Integral protection circuitry and a 3-year warranty mean it'll never let you down.

The EMX5014C is housed in a lightweight (under 24 lb.) standard mixer format that can be used as a stand-alone unit or rack mounted with the optional RK5014 kit for space-saving convenience.

The Speakers

BR cabinets are carefully designed for the best balance of small, easy to handle size and great low-frequency response, using Bass Reflex technology. High-frequency response is also enhanced with a new titanium HF driver and 90° by 40° non-resonant horn.
