An interconnect cable used to connect Apogee's Symphony PCI Card to Apogee's X-HD and X-Symphony expansion
cards.
This interconnect cable can be used to connect Apogee's Symphony PCI Card to Apogee's X-HD and X-Symphony
expansion cards:
Symphony PCI Card(sold separately):
Introducing Symphony, a multi-channel PCI Express card designed specifically for use with Apple's Macintosh computers. Apogee's
Symphony PCI Express card is a digital computer interface that is based on the PCI-Express architecture for Apple's Macintosh
computers. Controlled by Apogee's Maestro software, Symphony features 32 channels of digital I/O on a single PCI-Express card
format. With support for sample rates up to 192 kHz, Symphony can be used as a digital router or patch-bay when connected
to external converters or other digital outboard equipment. Software drivers for Symphony feature extensive routing capabilities
and very low latency performance making very high channel, high quality native recording with Apogee converters a reality.
Symphony is the professional audio standard for native workstations. Maestro is an innovative software interface between OS
X applications (OS 10.4 and above) and Apogee hardware. Maestro is capable of controlling Apogee hardware I/O connected to
the computer via FireWire, Symphony, (Apogee's PCI Express card), or both at the same time. Maestro features, multiple low
latency mixers, hardware control panels, an input/output routing matrix that is compatible with Rosetta 800, Rosetta 200,
AD-16X and DA-16X and a universal control platform for using Apogee hardware in combination with Ensemble.
X-HD
Card (sold separately):
The X-HD Card connects Apogee converters directly to Pro Tools HD and Accel core cards with no other hardware required. Apogee
makes the direct connection to Pro Tools / HD systems a reality. The Apogee X-HD option card allows for direct connectivity
between Pro Tools HD systems and Apogee's X-Series or Rosetta Series converters. The result is an incredibly powerful combination
of Digidesign's' Pro Tools software and Apogee's superior conversion and clocking hardware. It features a primary HD port
for connecting directly to HD Core or Accel cards, an expansion port for daisy-chaining multiple Apogee devices (AD-16X, DA-16X,
Rosetta 800 & Rosetta 200), it's compatible with the latest versions of ProTools, and it may be used along side similar interfaces
(such as the Digidesign 96 I/O, 192 I/O, Prism Dream ADA-8).
X-Symphony Card (sold separately):
X-Symphony Card connects Apogee converters to Apogee's Symphony64. Choose any combination of X-Series or Rosetta Series converters
to build the heart of your Symphony System, add X-Symphony Cards, and connect directly to Symphony and your Mac Pro Computer.
Features a primary port for connecting directly to Symphony PCI cards, and a thru port for daisy-chaining multiple Apogee
devices (AD-16X, DA-16X, Rosetta 800 & Rosetta 200, up to 64-channels per Symphony Card).
