This 5-Piece Pearl Vision VSX925F/C Drum Set features
Pearl's unique 6/8 technology. By constructing drum shells of 2 different thicknesses—6 plies on rack toms and 8 plies
on bass drums and floor toms—this formula yields incredibly balanced sound. This is because lower frequencies require
greater energy to project equally to match the higher frequencies produced by smaller drums.
Pearl's 60 years of acoustic
research has proven that the interior plies of the shell are the key influence to the overall sonic characteristic of the
drum. Vision Series exploits this knowledge to the fullest by using two unique shell recipes comprised of birch and basswood.
Birch offers a resilient, tightly bound network of cells that tend to accelerate rebounding sound waves, making it perfect
where mid-range to high frequencies are desired. Basswood provides a slightly softer cellulose composition, which tends to
slow the sound waves, thus promoting mid-range to low-frequency response. Adjusting the overall balance of one ingredient
to the other allows a fine-tuning of frequency response much like Pearl's Reference Series.

SST drum shell design
The Pearl Vision Series offers a sonically advanced recipe of strategically arranged plies of premium wood to maximize frequency
response in every component. As with all Pearl drums, each shell is formed from Pearl's SST construction process that uses
extreme heat, precision-cut scarf joints, Pearl's proprietary Acoustiglue, and over 1,000 pounds of hydraulic pressure to
create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.
Vision Series snare drums
This Vision Series kit features Pearl's legendary SensiTone snare drum, which has been the choice of discerning drummers for
years. As the name implies, these drums provide extreme sensitivity combined with amazing tone and clarity due to their 5-1/2"
steel shell that projects extreme volume with articulated responses for dynamic power and cut. This pack includes an edgy
brushed-steel SensiTone snare, with all the projection you'd expect from a Sensitone with a slightly darker look. Pearl's
innovative SR-900 Duo-Motion strainer can be converted from a side lever action to a Gladstone-type throw-off. The precision-contoured
lever allows for fast and absolute on/off function. A large adjustment knob insures fine-tuning for superior snare sensitivity.

P-900 kick pedal
This hardware pack features the P-900 kick pedal, which is jam-packed with high-end features such as a linear round cam, single-chain
drive, patented PowerShifter, infinitely adjustable beater angle, and PowerPlate.
S-900 snare stand
This snare stand features a Uni-Lock tilting system for infinitely adjustable snare drum placement. It is double-braced and
the height adjusts from 18" to 26".
H-900 hi-hat stand
This is a direct-pull double-braced stand with a standard clutch and includes many of the same types of components as higher
end Pearl hardware models.
C-900 straight cymbal stand
This straight cymbal stand features a Uni-Lock cymbal tilter for infinite positioning possibilities, and double-braced legs
for a sure and steady base.
BC-900 boom cymbal stand
This double-braced boom stand features a Uni-Lock Tilter for infinitely adjustable cymbal positioning. Its telescopic, knurled
cymbal arm allows for an incredible amount of positioning possibilities. The cymbal arm can also fit back inside the main
pipe tube, instantly converting into a straight cymbal stand if so desired.
