The TRAP Educational Package includes all the necessary supplies to facilitate your own learning program in a large group setting (20+ people) down to a more private one- or two-person group (Parent TRAP). Materials included are: the Program Guide, Exercise Book, colored foam swatches, audio recognition CD, drum lesson DVD, and Program Guide DVD.

TRAP's primary objective is to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of everyday life. We look forward to a world in which people of all abilities are treated with respect and dignity and are free to fully engage in the world around them.

The Rhythmic Arts Project empowers people with various disabilities to succeed in the world. The program integrates drums and percussion instruments as creative learning tools that address life skills and enhance the mind, body & spirit.

The TRAP model is becoming more recognized for its potential to augment healing therapies for a variety of cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities. Through rhythmic exercises, the program teaches and enhances basic life skills, such as: maintaining focus; using memory; socialization; turn taking; developing leadership; recognition and use of numbers, shapes, and colors, spatial awareness, fine and gross motor coordination; following instructions; and communication. Group teaching occurs in an environment that is supportive, cooperative, and fun.

As an innovative, alternative method to conventional healing and teaching, the TRAP program has excelled in every population. From rehabilitation hospitals to basic life skills in the field of developmental disabilities to typical preschools, inclusive settings, and in special education, this program is a winner.
