The Alvarez AF222C is a large bodied dreadnought acoustic guitar from the Artist series with an exotic figured dao wood on all body surfaces, back, sides, and top with an equally stunning rosewood fingerboard.

The full-sounding Alvarez guitar has a sweet tone and strong bass emphasis. The acoustic-electric's bound rosewood fingerboard has a split 3-piece diamond inlay at the 12th fret. The headstock is bound and topped with a rosewood veneer that highlights the Alvarez logo inlay. It has a traditional mustache bridge made out of rosewood, and has a classic white pearl soundhole rosette.

The Alvarez AF222C guitar's cutaway provides extra range and dexterity for hitting those high-register notes. The impressive System 600T MK II electronics feature a notch filter, 3-band EQ, and auxiliary in to jump into amplified mode in a pinch.
