The Genz Benz Tribal Series TS-412 guitar speaker cabinet mates classic British tone with the muscle
and edge today's guitarists demand. The speakers are highly touch sensitive and the punch and projection can be felt across
the room. All this is wrapped in a cabinet of unique construction and classic "boutique" styling inspired by Southwestern
roots. In order to enhance the liveliness and portability of these cabinets they are constructed from 1/2" and 3/4" birch
plywood panels.
It's loaded with Eminence Private Jack™ loudspeakers, selected for their full spectrum response
and "air" when loaded in the Tribal Series cabinets. The loudspeakers are rear mounted which provides a more focused response
and slightly different "color" over front loaded speakers.
This 4 x 12" model is available in a Slant (TS 412SL) or
Straight (TS 412ST) cabinet design. Each model offers slightly different response characteristics. With the back panel removed,
front and rear speaker waves blend together for rich, warm distinctive tone. The unique cabinet construction enhances the
tonal characteristics and helps to lessen the weight of the cabinets, allowing the cabinet to resonate and breathe.
The
cabinets feature removable backs for an added "open back" feel if desired. Other features include attractive black/wheat grille
cloth, white piping baffle trim, black vinyl covering and comfortable leather strap handles (metal bar handles on the 4 x
12" models).
