A
unique blend of catchy teenage lyrics and melodic
sound well beyond their years, Lithium is made up
of four teenage guys with good attitudes and potential
to really work hard to achieve their goals. The band
was put together in June of 1999, which was the end
of the boys sixth grade year, and is still going strong
through high school today. The music is a creative
and melodic blend of ska and punk that leads to the
overall 'fresh' sound and feel of Lithium's music.
Vocally Lithium has many creative and musical harmonies
between the two vocalists, Eric and Drew. Incorporated
in the band's music are a wide range of musical variety--
such as a melodic interlude or a unique breakdown
groove section-- while still keeping the band's signature
sound and feel together. The diverse sound of this
quartet is due in most part to the musical input and
ideas from all the band members.
A rarity in a young teen band is present in the group
because the Lithium guys are true musicians to the
heart. All of the members of the band are all also
members of their high schools marching band, concert
band, and jazz bands. The guy's ability to blend well
musically with each other is topped only by the commitment
to the band and most of all the ability to stick together
through thick and thin.
Lithium is Drew Gilman on guitar and vocals, Eric
Perrott on bass and vocals, Mark Annino on drums,
and Avi Aisenberg on trombone and turntables. With
the integrity to always strive for more and the will
to work hard to reach their dream, Lithium is ready
to catch the ears and hearts of people everywhere.
